01 April 2022 - (Rotkreuz, Schwitzerland) - FOG Software Group ("FOG"),a division of Vela Software today announced that it has completed the acquisition of syfex AG ("syfex").
Basel, Switzerland-based syfex is a leader in mobile software solutions for the Swiss market. For several years, syfex has been providing, amongst other software products, a mobile solution for Optiwork customers.
Following the acquisition, syfex will operate as an independent division of FOG and work closely with Optiwork AG (formerly BRZ Schweiz AG). Within Optiwork, syfex will continue to develop its existing solutions and services for mobile working for ancillary construction trades. The acquisition creates great synergies for Optiwork's existing customers, who already work with the DOMUS Mobile solution from syfex. In addition, syfex as a provider of mobile solutions for companies of all sizes and industries, will operate as a separate business unit and strengthen the product portfolio in additional horizontal markets in the group.
